Sweetlands Lodge, Kei River Reserve Hunting Trip – Review by Caroline Reeders

Janbert, James and Caroline Reeders and Johan Steenkamp and Lerise spent four nights and three days hunting with Rance Safaris on Kei River Reserve, staying at Sweetlands lodge.

Thank you for a most amazing experience.  We enjoyed every moment of our four days on Sweetlands.
The accommodation was tops, as was the housemaid, food and service in the kitchen.  Staff are well trained, very friendly and polite.
Highlights were the bush braai and sundowners at little pimple koppie and the fellowship around the boma fire.
Rooms were clean and perfectly kitted with electric blankets, white towels and all the other basics.
The housemaid is an angel.  She has a good attitude and is keen to help.  The house, bar, boma, dining room area and kitchen are perfectly kitted.
We loved every minute of the day.  Just walking in the bush.  Listening to the quiet and climbing  out the hills.
You have got very good PH’s – young and full of life, keen to learn new ideas.
The lodge beautiful – decor is good,  practical and easy living, but still classy and tastefully done.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity of enjoying all the facets of Kei River Reserve and Sweetlands lodge.  And believe me we did, it’s been a life changing experience.
Caroline Reeders.
